Dom Malatesta is also a Costs Lawyer of the Association of Costs Lawyers and has acted in many cases representing both Claimants and Defendants. Prior to working with Malcolm in Westminster from 1996, Dom spent several years in two of the City's premier law firms.

He has advised on various costs issues and acted in claims for costs out of central funds in criminal proceedings as well as advising on the recovery of costs in the Court of Protection and in proceedings issued in Jersey. He has also advised clients throughout the litigation process, including advising on budgeting and costs estimates; the preparation of costs schedules for use with allocation and listing questionnaires and on the detailed assessment procedure at the conclusion of proceedings. He particularly specialises in the opposition of costs in civil actions.

Dom is married to Rachel and is keen on all types of sport and spending time with his daughters Sofia and Emilia.
